About The Book

“The evidence is the key to the past.”

Genesis Modeled: The Catastrophic Case for a Young Earth is a scientific investigation into Earth’s history using the powerful framework of modeling—an approach long trusted in fields like physics, economics, and climate science. This book does not rely on religious publications, theological arguments, or appeals to tradition. Instead, it applies neutral, testable modeling criteria—such as elegance, predictive power, and explanatory scope—to compare two competing models of Earth’s past: the conventional Slow and Uniform (SU) Model and the Catastrophic and Abrupt (CA) Model.

What sets this work apart is its unwavering commitment to scientific rigor. It treats models as tools, not conclusions, and uses them as neutral arbiters to weigh evidence across geology, paleontology, climate data, and ancient records. The result is a clear and accessible framework that allows readers—regardless of background—to judge for themselves which model better explains the world we see.

The SU Model, the one we have all been taught, is based on the principle of geology that “The present is the key to the past”. This one ideology has led us all down this path that our Earth is very ancient. However, scientific modeling adheres to the principle that “The evidence is the key to the past”. This principle properly realigns the timeline to what it was, catastrophic and abrupt. The Biblical narrative recorded in Genesis emerges under this new model. This new model then reconciles three essential aspects of life: the geological record, scientific modeling, and the flood account recorded in the Book of Genesis. These essential elements now tell the same story, our earth recently was destroyed by a global cataslysm.
